A modern approach to Alternative Provision
Provia Education provides specialist online Alternative Provision for pupils whose needs are best supported outside of mainstream education.
We work in partnership with schools, local authorities and families to deliver personalised education that removes barriers to learning and helps every young person reach their potential.
Our aim is simple: to help every learner remain engaged in education through high-quality teaching, individual support and strong relationships.
Provia Education was founded by Harry Parker, a qualified teacher with experience across mainstream education, specialist settings and online Alternative Provision. He holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Designated Safeguarding Lead (Level 3) training, and his professional background includes the Teach First Leadership Development Programme and experience as a former AQA examiner.
Harry has worked with children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including SEND, Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), SEMH and medical needs, working alongside schools, families and multidisciplinary professionals to support learners whose needs cannot always be met within a traditional classroom.
This experience shaped the development of Provia Education: specialist online Alternative Provision that is flexible, personalised and relationship-led, while maintaining high expectations for education, safeguarding and professional practice.
Provia works in partnership with schools and families to help pupils re-engage with education, make progress and work towards appropriate next steps.
