Safe Recruitment
All teaching staff working with Provia Education:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (where applicable)
Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate
Receive regular safeguarding training
Are recruited through safer recruitment procedures
Understand their responsibilities under Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)

Where concerns arise, information is shared appropriately and in line with safeguarding guidance and data protection legislation.
Reporting Concerns
If a safeguarding concern arises during a session or through communication with a learner, staff follow established safeguarding procedures immediately.
Concerns are recorded, risk assessed where appropriate and reported without delay to the relevant Designated Safeguarding Lead and referring organisation.
Where a child is believed to be at immediate risk of harm, appropriate emergency procedures are followed.
